This release focuses on making the Sell page more informative and easy to use for keeping your product listings up to date. For producers in markets that use the inventory system we have provided several integrations with your market's inventory so that you can manage inventoried products through Connect. There are also several smaller improvements in usability and some bug fixes.
New Features
Bulk Update Availability now has editable price fields and can be sorted by Category
On the Bulk Update Availability screen you can now sort your products by category (rather than the default alphabetical sort). The screen also displays editable price fields so you can quickly and easily update prices while you update your quantities available.
Type B products display weight and product price on the availability update page
B Type products (products priced by weight) now show the assigned weight and total price on the availability update page. This allows you to see the estimated total price for the product instead of just the price per pound as before.
Show product inventory on Sell page
Markets that hold inventory can turn on a setting to make inventory quantities visible to producers. All products on the Sell page will then show how much product is in inventory and how much is scheduled to be delivered on purchase orders. Inventory is visible on the individual market tab, not on the All Markets tab.
Inventory Managed Messaging and Functionality
A recent update to Local Food Marketplace allows markets to set products to always have the quantity available equal to the quantity in their inventory, bypassing producer availability. Connect now indicates when a product has that setting turned on by providing the message "Availability managed from Inventory" and by freezing the quantity available on the product page and the Bulk Update Availability page.
Inventory managed products also do not show up on the Harvest and Pack pages since the market will be filling those orders out of inventory rather than from your pick list products.
Show incoming purchase order items in Harvest and Packing pages
For markets that use the inventory system and issue purchase orders to you, items on those purchase orders will now appear on your Harvest and Pack pages. Incoming purchase order products will only appear on Connect so long as they have not been marked "received" by the market admin and while the planned delivery date is in the future. PO products will appear on the harvest date closest to the planned delivery date of the PO. In the example below the planned delivery date for PO BEST-2265 is 9/22, so it is showing up on the nearest Harvest Date which is 9/20.
Purchase order products will be integrated in the Harvest and Pack pages and the reports generated from those pages. You can filter purchase order items out of the pages and reports by unchecking Purchase Orders in the Market/Distribution Days filter.
Include credit memo items in sales reports
Items on credit memos issued by the markets you participate in will now be included in your sales reports. Items on credit memos reduce sales amounts and therefore amounts owed by the market to producers. Your sales reports should now match your payments and the market's own sales reports.
Add an "Export Labels" report
A new export-only report is available from the Pack page which takes the place of the "Export Labels" report from the Local Food Marketplace legacy producer interface. This report can be used to create custom product labels and provides all possible product information you may need. To get the complete export click the printer icon on the Pack page and select either of the label options. Once the labels have generated, use the download button to export a csv file with all the label data. Check the "One Line per Item" option if you want the export to have separate numbered lines for each unit of a product (1 of 2, 2 of 2, etc).
Improvements
Indicate Harvest Days With Sales on Calendar
The calendar on the Harvest and Pack pages now highlights Harvest Days that products in them. This makes it easier to quickly see which days you will need to harvest and pack products.
Allow price updates on products even if they are not currently listed as available
Previously price changes could only be saved for products that were currently listed as available. Now all products can have their prices updated regardless of whether they are available.
Add order number to Avery Labels
Customer order number is now added after the customer name on the Avery Labels for order items.
Banner message appears only on home page
Banner messages from the makers of Local Food Connect now appear only on the Home page and will not take up screen space on the other pages where you need to manage products.
Make filters sticky when generating reports
Filters you set when generating reports will remain in place when you navigate from the report back to the main page.
Harvest Unit moved to Product Information section and blanked out when it's turned off.
The Harvest Unit has been moved down into the Product Information section of the product setup, and if you don't use Harvest Units and turn it off it will be blank so as to simplify the product setup page.
Center error messages in mobile view
Error messages are now centered on the page when viewing Connect on a mobile device.

Bug Fixes
Fixed unhandled error on new product with unnamed unit
Now when you are creating a new product, if a selling unit is left unnamed you will not be able to save the product before giving the unit a name. This avoids the error that was generated from having an unnamed selling unit.
Fixed error when adding a user to the producer account
Users added to the producer account in Connect are now able to log into Connect and manage the producer without error.
Fixed bug that multiplied weights when products were marked "packed"
Previously when products were marked "packed" on the Pack page, the product weight was getting multiplied by the product quantity and saved as the new weight on each unit of the product. That bug is fixed.
