New Features
Image Upload Updates
Products can now have up to 3 images which will display to customers on the food hub online store. On the product detail screen just click on the "No Image Available/Click here to set image" message to add an image to the Image 1, Image 2 or Image 3 slot. Then click Upload to upload a new image, or click Select to apply an image that you already have uploaded to the product. On the food hub online store customers can cycle through the three images. The image in slot 1 will be the default image on the storefront.
We've also added visibility to image subfolders in the food hub market image folder. Now, if your food hub admin has added images for you and has organized them into different folders you can navigate to each specific image folder from within Connect.
Vacation Mode Setting at Product Level
Individual products can now be set as "on vacation/unavailable" on the Sell page. This allows you to remove a product from active sales without de-listing it. Then when you turn off vacation mode on the product it returns to the storefront with the same quantity available.
Edit lot number and weight on Purchase Order products
Food hubs that license the Local Food Marketplace inventory module may send purchase orders to producers to procure inventory. Producers can now edit the lot numbers and weights of products on those purchase orders, and that information will populate the Purchase Order in the food hub. The lot number and weight for PO products can only be updated on the Pack page; lot numbers entered on the Harvest page will not update purchase order products.
Once the lot number and weight have been edited, check the Packed check box to send the information to the food hub. The food hub will not received the updated lot number and weight unless the Packed checkbox is checked. Remember that the weight you enter in Connect is the total weight for the quantity of the product in the line you are editing. In the screen shot above, the quantity is 2 and the weight is 4.2 for that total quantity of product.
In the food hub admin site, the PO receiving page will show which products the producer has marked Packed, and what if any lot number and weight they have entered. If the food hub admin receives the product as is, it will be stored in their inventory with the producer-entered lot number and weight, and that information will follow the product onto customer orders. Note that in the food hub admin PO receiving page, the weight displayed is the weight per unit, so it will be the total weight entered in Connect divided by the quantity.
Once products have been received in by the food hub admin, the weights will not longer be editable in Connect and the Pack check box will be replaced with the word "Received."
Improvements
Pack Page: add customer name
Customer names have been added to the Pack page Order tab so that different orders are more easily identified. This has been requested specifically by meat producers who need to update the weights on each order.
Pack Page: make weights editable on Order tab
Product weights are now editable on the Orders tab of the Pack page. Opening order details here no longer opens a separate page. Instead the order simply expands in the page, reducing loading time.
Distribute Page Update
The Distribute page Pick List tab has been redesigned to expose the Period and Subperiod dropdown menus to make Pick List creation quicker and more intuitive. We replaced the "share" icon with a "print" icon to generate the pick lists.
Harvest & Pack: display PO items even if they have been marked "Received"
PO products now remain visible in the Pack and Harvest pages after they have been received. That allows producers to view past POs, and also allows markets to issue "pre-received" POs to producers without the producer losing visibility on the PO items. Received Items will show up on the Pack page Product tab with the number received, and if they are fully received the check box is replaced with the word "Received."
Renaming In Person Market Functionality
For added clarity, In Person Markets have been renamed to Other Harvests. Other Harvests allow producers to add products into their Harvest and Pack reports that will be used for anything other than Local Food Marketplace online sales.
Fix Slow Home Page and Sell Page Loading
Producers with many products were experiencing very slow load times on the Home and Sell pages. We have improved the loading process to reduce those times.
Pack: improve load time for labels
Product labels load much faster now when there is a very large number of labels, and a 'loading' message shows the progress of label generation.
Bug Fixes
Harvest multiplier on Type A products
Type A products now automatically use their unit multiplier as their harvest multiplier when they are initially added.
Include units allocated from inventory in Sell page (sold) qty
The quantity sold on the Sell page now includes sales from a market inventory. Failing to include those quantities was allowing producers to reduce overall availability below 0, which should not be possible.
Distribute: don't show INV records in Purchase Order list
This prevents food hub inventory corrections from showing up in producer Purchase Order lists.
New subperiods not added to harvest days
This corrects a bug that was preventing newly added subperiods from being active on the Harvest and Pack pages.
Sell page obscures last item on some screen sizes
This fixes a display issue on the Sell page that was causing the last product on the list to be covered by the navigation bar on some medium size mobile devices.
POs rounding prices differently than in Food Hub
Resolves a discrepancy in the way products priced by weight were rounding the prices on purchase orders.
Pack/Harvest: missing products prevent all from loading
Missing products no longer cause the Park and Harvest page to fail to load, but to cause warning messages that the products is either unimported or deleted
Deleted Product Messaging in Harvest and Pack Pages
Now if a deleted product is in an order that would appear on a selected harvest date, the user will see a message reading "You have sold products that have been deleted from your product list. Please contact your market manager to restore these products:"
Other Harvests: Enable Adding Additional Products
We have restored the ability to add new products to Other Harvest product lists.
Sales Reports: Deleted products break report
Sales reports can now be generated even if they include products that have been deleted from the market.
Remove Unhandled Errors
"Unhandled Error" messages no longer appear on the user interface.
Pick List "hide location list" not following food hub setting
The "Customer Location Distribution List" section now appears in Connect pick lists if the market admins have set their pick lists to include that section.
