This release adds some long-requested features including a library of images the producer has uploaded, a packing list report, and a harvest day sale summary.
New Features
Product image library
Connect users now have access to all product images they have uploaded through Connect. The image library can be accessed by clicking the person icon and choosing Settings. Your image library also provides view-only access to the images on in your market(s) that have been assigned to your products in LFM or that have been made available to all producers as Global images.
Images uploaded prior to this release will be stored in a user specific folder within the Connect folder. Going forward all new images uploaded in Connect will be stored in a Connect folder shared by all users of your producer profile, in case there are multiple users.
When you edit a product image on the Sell page you will now have the option to Select an image from your image library (including available images in your market's image folder) or Upload a new image for the product.
Sold out products are now highlighted on the Sell page
When any selling unit has an availability of 0, making it sold out, it will be highlighted with a red font on the Sell page.
New Packing Report: Harvest Day Sales Summary
This new packing report provides a list of products and prices that shows the total sales for the chosen harvest day. This report is similar to the Summary Pick List and can be printed or exported as a CSV file for your bookkeeping. Access this report using the Printer icon on the Pack page.
New Packing Report: Packing List Report
This packing report provides a separate packing list for each customer order. The packing list header displays Producer Name, Customer Name and Order Number, and Order Location. It can be used as a check list to put in each order or as a packing label to be applied to order containers. There are no page breaks in the report itself so we recommend copying and pasting the content into a separate document or exporting the CSV file so you can insert page breaks as desired prior to printing.
LFM Support: Ability to login as Connect user from LFM Admin
Local Food Marketplace support staff can now log in as a Connect user when needed in order to help investigate and solve user issues.
Improvements
Order Item Notes have been added to the Customer Order Detail sales report
Item notes on customer orders and credit memos, which market admins may use to explain changes to amounts owed to producers, now appear in the sales report "Customer Order Detail."
Add info to purchase orders
Some information that was previously missing from the Connect version of printable purchase orders has been added. Purchase orders are printable from the Distribute page of Connect.
Update market names
When a market changes its name in Local Food Marketplace that change will now be reflected in Connect.
Bug Fixes
Prevent saving blank harvest unit
When a user creates or edits a product and deletes the harvest unit they now get a warning message and are required to enter a harvest unit name. This prevents an system error.
Prevent saving blank multiplier or weight
Previously when a user would delete the weight or multiplier value in a selling unit and attempt to save the product without entering a new value, the system generated an error message and the page would not load. Now when the user deletes the weight or multiplier and doesn't enter a new value, a default value of 1.0 will be entered in those fields.
Empty product list error
Producers with no products assigned to them were previously getting an error message on the Sell page. That has been fixed.
Products with same name in market
When a producer has two different products with the same name in a market, Connect was erroneously combining them. Connect now treats them as two different products.
Subperiods deselected in LFM not removed in Connect
When a market admin removes subperiods from a producer, Connect was previously not reflecting this change. This has been fixed, although product records from before the admin made the change will continue to appear on the prior harvest days.
In Person availability not multiplied for type A products on Sell page
Quantities of Type A products ordered for 'In Person Markets' were previously not being added up correctly, and that has been fixed.
