Connect 1.12 Release Notes

4/22/2025 Connect 1.12 is a re-release of Connect 1.11 with an overhaul of the internal programming to address some functionality issues that surfaced when 1.11 was released in February.

New Features

Improved Add Products to Sell Functionality

The 1.12 release features a complete re-design of the Add Products to Sell Functionality within Connect. Producers can choose to add products to sell within their market by clicking the "Add Products to Sell" button in the Sell page:

They will then be taken to the Add Products to Sell Page where any un-imported products will be displayed, along with a button to add products for that specific market:

Clicking this button will take the user to the new Add Products to Sell page, which features improved product browsing and searching, and the ability to add multiple global products at once.

Improved Search Functionality
Producers can either search for a specific product, or browse by product category within the market they're looking to add products for:
Add Multiple Global Products at One Time
Producers can now add multiple global products at one time, and designate the pricing method of the products they're adding.

Producers can also create a new product that will need to be reviewed and categorized by a market manager before appearing as available for purchase.

Display Tax Rate on Products

This release displays the products tax rate as a read-only field in the Product Info section of product setup:

Improvements

Displaying Pricing Method Explanations
This release adds a "What is Product Type?" link below the product type drop-down, which opens a modal that explains the different pricing methods.
Re-naming Image File If File Name Is Already In Use
With this release, uploading an image file with the same file-name as an existing file in your folder will result in the new file being re-named so that it doesn't overwrite the already uploaded image file.
Restoring Vacation Mode Setting & Display Vacation Notice
With this release the Vacation Mode functionality has been restored, and can now be enabled in the Logistics tab of the producer's profile, which is accessible in the Settings->Manage Markets->Producer/Site section of Connect:

If you're in Vacation mode, a banner will appear across the top of your Connect account indicating that you're in Vacation mode.
Labels Added to Packing Reports
This release adds labels indicating Market and Packing Date to the Packing Reports:
County Added as Producer Information Field
This release adds County as an editable field for Producers in the Contact section of their profile:
