This release improves the speed of the Sell page where product availability is managed, adds new ways for producers and market managers to share information, and addresses several improvements and bugs.
New Features
Sell Page Speed Improvements
To help the Sell page load faster and be usable more quickly we now load long product lists in stages. The Sell page now loads with the first Market selected by default so that the Bulk Update Availability button is immediately available.
Edit product name
Product names can now be edited in the product details page. From the Sell page, click the product name then click the pencil icon to get to the product details page. NOTE: editing the product name here will only change the product name in Connect; only your LFM market admins can change the name of the product as it appears in their market sites.
Producer Document Uploads
You can now upload documents to your producer profile which can then be accessed by admins of the LFM markets you participate in. To upload your documents click on the person icon and select Settings, then Manage Markets. Click the pencil icon of the market you want to share documents with. At the bottom of the Info tab is the Documentation section with four folders available: Business Documentation, Insurance, Organic Certification, and Other Growing Practices.
Click on the folder you want to add a document to and then click the upload button. You can upload files in the pdf, png, jpg and jpeg formats. Click Save to finish uploading documents. Once you have uploaded a document to your market's Info tab your market admins will be able to download and view the document in your producer profile in their LFM admin site.
Add New "Certifying Bodies" Drop-Down to Info Tab
If an LFM market you sell through has set up a list of Certifying Bodies that provide certification of producer practices, you can claim certification by those organization in Connect. Click on the person icon and select Settings. Go into Manage Markets and tap the pencil icon on the market you want to claim certifications for. At the bottom of your Info tab is the drop down menu of certifying bodies you can select.
Add a Reports icon to the left/bottom icon bar
A reports icon now appears at the bottom/left of the page icon menu, allowing quick access to your sales reports page.
Home page: Add producer header message from LFM admin
Your LFM market admins can now set up header messages in their market admin sites which will appear at the top of your Home page. In the market admin site the header message is entered at Admin>Site Setup>General>Header Message.
Make Harvest Day an offset from Aggregation Day
If your market admin changes the aggregation day for a given period or subperiod, your harvest day in LFM will now move along with that aggregation day. For example, if your aggregation day is normally Friday and you set your harvest day to Thursday (one day prior), if your market admin move an aggregation day to Thursday one week, that week your harvest day will show up as Wednesday (one day prior again).
Improvements
Add PO items to Avery Labels
Products on purchase orders that show up on the Pack page are now included in the individual item labels (small and large Avery labels)
Add "Sort by Location" option to Avery Labels in Pack page.
Individual item labels (small and large Avery labels) generated on the Pack page can now be sorted by customer location.
Add Producer Email, Phone and Certifying Bodies to Label Export
The downloadable csv file available from the Avery Label report now includes your email, phone number and certifying bodies if available.
Sub-periods in Distribute Page Pick List View
When a producer prints their Pick List from the Distribute page, only the subperiods they participate in will be selected and included by default. To see Pick List products they may have in subperiods they don't participate in they will need to expand the Distribution Days drop down menu and select the additional subperiods.
Refactoring Code
The code behind Connect has been optimized to improve loading time across the entire app.
Exclude order type "Subscription" from Connect
LFM markets that take subscription sig-ups generate orders for those signups. Those orders never have products on them that producers need to fulfill, so they will be excluded from Connect.
Bug Fixes
Harvest Page lot number
Lot numbers entered on the Harvest page were not be saved to all products if the harvest included both purchase order and customer order products. Lot numbers now save to all intended products.
Valid email formats
Email fields in the Edit Market Info page were allowing invalidly formatted emails to be saved. Now an email can only be saved if it is in the word@word.word format.
