This release provides some new features to enable between communication between users and the team behind Connect, several improvements that accentuate key information to improve usability, and fixes for some bugs that users have reported.
New Features
Submit help requests to user support
Users can now submit support requests to Local Food Marketplace using the Submit a Ticket option from the question mark icon at the top right of the page.
Warning messages for missing products
Warning messages now appear when a producer has products in an Local Food Marketplace market that have not been imported into Connect. This may happen when a market admin adds a product through LFM, or when a producer deletes a product in Connect but a market admin does not delete it in LFM. A simple notification appears after logging in or refreshing the page.
If the unimported product has sales on a given Harvest Day, the Harvest and Pack pages will display a warning to let the producer know to import the product before generating Harvest and Pack reports.
Filter sales reports using product tags
Sales reports can now be filtered by product tags. Tags are a way for users to identify and group products separately from the default categories in Connect. To isolate products with particular tags in a report you will need to uncheck the "Untagged" option in the filter.
See messages from the software team
Banner messages from Local Food Marketplace can now be displayed at the top of the page, alerting users to important information from the software company behind Connect.
Producer name always visible
The producer's name is now displayed on every page under the person icon in the top right. This is helpful for users who manage multiple producer accounts within Connect.
Improvements
Aggregation day display
The name of the Aggregation Day for each Distribution Day is now displayed at Settings>Harvest Days. This makes it easier to choose an appropriate Harvest Day, especially when the Aggregation Day differs from the Distribution Day.
Already mapped products removed from product import drop down lists
When importing products from an LFM market, any products that have already been imported and mapped are removed from the drop down list. This makes it quicker to find the matching product or create a new product.
Inactive producer profiles no longer appear
Producer profiles that have been marked "Inactive" on LFM markets will not show up as available in Connect. The removal of inactive producer profiles will not affect access to Connect, other LFM producer profiles associated with your Connect email address, or any in person markets you have set up. If an inactive producer profile gets reactivated on an LFM market you will need to use the Add Market button at Settings>Manage Markets to manage that market through Connect.
In Person Markets can now be shared by multiple users
In Person Markets are now shared by all users for a given producer rather than being accessible only by an individual user.
Product weights can be totaled in reports
On Sales and Packing Reports the product weight columns can now be totaled.
Better messaging for log in errors
When invalid login credentials are entered the message now says "Your email or password have been entered incorrectly," and the "Forgot your password?" link underneath is provided.
Customer addresses no longer visible
On the Pack page order details, customer address has been replaced with the name of the order location.
Products deleted from LFM markets can be re-imported to them
Products that have been deleted from all LFM markets but that still exist in a Connect user account can now be exported into LFM markets without error. Previously a product could only be exported into an LFM market if it also existed in another LFM market. To export a product that does not exist in any LFM market into an LFM market, click the edit pencil on the product and check the box of the market you want to add it to. These products are now treated as new products that need to be set up with selling units just like any other new product.
Report headers
All reports now have a header with the report title and a list of filters applied to the report.
