How do I access Connect?
You can access Connect by going to https://app.localfoodconnect.com in any web browser.
Can I access Connect from my phone?
Yes! Connect is fully functional on web browsers for both desktop and mobile devices.

When will the Connect site replace the Legacy site?
As of 2023, all new developments and features for producers are in Connect. We are aiming to phase out Legacy by the end of 2024.
Product Categorization & Availability
What does it mean for a product to be categorized?
Each LFM Market has its own set of categories that appear on their storefront. When you create a new product to sell, an email is sent to your Market Manager so they can categorize the product and review it as needed.
Does a Market Manager have to approve updates that I make to my inventory?
No, Market Managers do not have to approve updates to products they’ve already approved and categorized.
I just started selling to an additional Market. Is there an easy way to pull my product information from one market into another?
Yes! The first step is to contact your Market Manager to see if they have a version of the product you are trying to upload already on the site. If they have that product, they will add it to your Producer profile. If not, you can use the “export” feature on Connect to add the product. (add links)
Taxes & Deposits
What if I remit taxes? How does this process work with Connect?
The tax remittance process differs from market to market, so you’ll need to confirm that process with your Market Manager.
LFM has reports that provide information to Market Managers on sales tax collected. They can either remit that directly to the sales tax authority or send that to you to remit.
I have a bottle deposit. How does this work with Connect?
The Market will collect this deposit on your behalf as a part of the purchase. Typically, as bottles are returned, they will return those bottles to the producer and issue a deposit credit to the customer. Each market handles the bottle deposit fund collection, credit and remittance differently -- contact your market manager for details.
