Adding New Products

Add new products that are not currently listed on your Sell page by clicking the Add Product button on the Sell page.

Add an unimported product

Below the search field is a list of products that are assigned to you in an LFM market but are not currently listed in your Connect account. You can check if the product you want to add is already listed here, and import it if so. Click the down arrow by the market name to see any unimported products. Check the box of the product you want to add and choose "Create new product" in the "Map to" drop menu. Click the Import button to add the product to your Connect list.

Add a product that already exists in your market

If the product that you want to add does not appear in the list of unimported products, you can search your market's global products list using the search field at the top of the Add Product page.

If the product you're looking to add is already setup as a product in the market, click "Select" next to the product to add it to your product list. The product will come with the settings your market created it with, so you may want to edit the details. See our article Editing Existing Products.

Creating a new product

If the product you want to add is not already available in the market, you can create a new product. The Create Product option will always be at the bottom of the Product search results - it's generally best to add/use a product that's already been created in the market, since it's already been categorized and approved, and you'll be able to sell the product as soon as you finalize adding it.

Clicking the Create Product button takes you to the product details page where you can edit the details as described in Editing Existing Products. NOTE: Any products you create need to be approved and categorized by a market admin before they will show up on the market storefront website, so you should let your admin know when you have created a product.

Adding Connect Products to Another Market

If you sell in more than one market you can export products from one market into another. On the Add Products page below the search bar and any unimported products will be lists of products that are in Connect but not in a given market. Click the down arrow by the market name, check any of the products that you want to export, and click the Add Selected button.

This is especially useful if you're selling in a new LFM market and would like to bring the products your selling already into that new market.  Exporting products from Connect into a market will create the exported products as new, uncategorized products in the LFM Site. As with newly created markets, you should let the admin of the market you are adding the products to that you have added them so that the admin can approve and categorize the products and get them on the storefront.
