This release introduces major updates to the customer management functionality - with a totally new customer search and customer profile interface introduced. This release also includes bug fixes for subscriptions, production planning reports and memberships.
Introducing the new Customer Management interface, which offers a new ways to search and manage your customers. There's a new page in the Admin Customer's drop-down called "Manage Customers" - from this page you can search for existing customers, or create a new a customer by clicking the blue plus button.
For markets licensing the Route Management and Membership modules, there's the additional ability to search by Route and by Membership (Route displayed above).
One of the most exciting features in the new Customer interface is the ability to take action on a customer's account right from the search results, instead of needing to click through to the customer's profile.
From the search results, Market Manager's now have the ability to:
- Create new orders:
- Membership (if applicable)
- Recurring (if a recurring order is setup)
- Subscription (if a customer is subscribed to a product).
- Create a new subscription for a customer
- Receive a payment and apply it to unpaid orders or subscription payments
- Login as the Customer
Another new feature is the ability to email a customer (via your own Email client, outside of LFM) from the Search results by clicking on their email address.
The new customer profile is based on the design and layout of the Producer Profile, with menu options on the left side, and tabs within each page. The actions drop-down from the Manage Customers page is replicated on each customer profile.
The customer transactions page allows you to view all of the customers orders (via date and payment status filters) as well as any payments made or credits issued.
The 4.67 release is the first step in the customer profile update process. Later this winter we're going to be adding the ability for multiple emails/logins to access one customer account. In preparation for this, we're temporarily restricting the ability to update the customer's email from the Customer profile. To update the customer's email/login, use the Login As Customer functionality and change their email in the Account Information section of the storefront.
1. Subscriptions: Hide Payment Option
This release adds a new setting to the subscription payment setup - the ability to hide a payment option on the storefront. This allows market manager's to limit the availability of certain payment options on the storefront, while retaining the ability to sort and assign that payment option in the Admin site.
2. Subscriptions: Updating Default Location Message
If a customer is subscribed to a product, a message now appears when a customer updates their default location in Account Information alerting them to contact their market manager if they'd like to update their subscription location. Only market managers can update subscription locations.
3. Subscriptions: Update Payments Message
This release now displays the message reminding market manager's to update the subscription payment due amounts manually when updating the quantity of a subscription.
4. Subscriptions: Subscription Name As a Link
This release makes the subscription name a link on the storefront Manage Subscriptions page so that customers know it's a clickable link.
5. Subscriptions: Hiding Subscribable Setting on Product Modal
This release hides the "Subscribable" setting on the product modal: this setting was left over from functionality that was never implemented, and caused confusion.
6. Subscriptions: Hiding Placeholders Link on Custom Email
This release hides the "Placeholders" link on the custom email modal in the Manage Subscriptions page. Because no placeholders work in the Custom Email this link was misleading, and has been removed.
1. Customer Registration Acknowledgement Email
This release corrects a bug that was sending the customer registration acknowledgement email to the Contact Us email address - it is now sending to the site admin email address.
2. Period Length Field in LFM Database
This release corrects a bug that was not updating the period length in the LFM scheduled events database when the period length was updated in the Site Setup-->Periods page. Updating this field in Site Setup now updates the field in the database.
3. Content Module: Creating New Content
This release restores the ability for customer's licensing the Content Management module to create new pages in the Site Setup-->Website Navigation and Content-->Content page. Just click the blue plus button to add a new content page.
4. Membership Module: Soft Delete of Deleted Membership Types
This release corrects a bug that was removing information about a customer's prior membership if their old membership was deleted from the database. The deleted membership name will still appear in the membership log on the customer's profile.
5. Production Planning Module: Application Error on Production Planning Report
This release corrects a bug that was throwing an application error when generating some production planning reports. This bug has been corrected, but market manager's should note that there are still scenarios where the report will fail, like when a report is called that mixes plans that don't share plan dates. This report will be updated later next year when the production planning module is updated.
6. Subscriptions: Payment Due Amount on Multiple Quantity Subscriptions
This release corrects a bug that was displaying the Subscription Payment Due amount for a single subscription even if the customers was subscribing to two or more of that subscription. The subscription confirmation and update email now display the correct amount due (incorporating multiple quantities) using the @@PAYMENT_INFO placeholder.
7. Subscriptions: Payments Bug
This release corrects a bug that was completely deleting a payment applied to a subscription when a market manager deleted that payment on a subscription. With this release, deleting a payment on a subscription now removes the payment from the Subscription, but the payment is still available and visible on the Customer's profile.
8. Subscriptions: In-active Customers in Subscriptions Pages
This release corrects a bug that was displaying In-active customers who had a subscription in the Subscriptions page. In-active customers no longer appear in the Subscriptions pages.
9. Subscriptions: Displaying 4 digit Payment Due Amounts
This release corrects a bug that wasn't displaying subscription payment due amounts if those amounts were 4 digits or more (i.e. greater $1,000). These due amount are now displaying.
10. Subscriptions: Shop Link From Storefront Subscription Page
This release corrects a bug that was throwing an application error when a customer clicked the "Shop" link in the left side storefront menu when viewing their Subscription on the storefront.
11. Subscriptions: Edit Subscription Button
This release corrects a bug that was throwing an application error when a customer clicked on the "Edit Subscription" button - which appears when a customer attempts to subscribe to a product they're already subscribed to.
12. Subscriptions: End Date on Hold
This release corrects a bug that wasn't including the end date of a subscription hold. So if a customer had a hold that ended on 12/15, and the distribution day for their subscription was 12/15 the Subscription was getting checked in the Create Orders page. This issue is now fixed, and if the end date of a hold is the same as the distribution date, the subscription won't get checked as the default.
